What if a robot could truly dance? Not the stiff, mechanical "Doing the Robot", but with the balance, coordination, and fluidity of a human performer. Meet G1PO, our Unitree G1 humanoid, who just became the most graceful dancer around our office.

Powered by NVIDIA's SONIC generalist motion policy, G1PO dances to human choreographies in real-time. Using generative motion capture and smart retargeting, the robot learns new moves instantly from just a single video of a human dancer. Once captured, SONIC tracks the full-body motions while simultaneously handling the complex physics of balancing. The entire pipeline runs on the G1's integrated Jetson Orin, with a browser-based UI to select and trigger dances at runtime.
